The top 1% of the population owns 38% of the wealth in this country, while 60% of the population only own 2.3% of the wealth.

One family, the Walton family who own and operate Walmart, owns more wealth than the bottom 40% of the population. The Walton family is the wealthiest family in America, and yet they are the largest recipient of welfare in America.

Does this make any moral or economic sense?
